Location: Massillon, OH
Hours: Monday – Friday | 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM

R2 Sealant Systems is seeking a detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to serve as the primary point of contact for our customers while supporting internal logistics and shipping operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys multitasking, problem-solving, and collaborating across departments to ensure an exceptional customer experience.
PositionSummary
The Customer Service Representative serves as the primary point of contact for customers and supports internal logistics and shipping operations. This role is responsible for managing customer communications via phone and email, coordinating order processing, and assisting the shipping and receiving team with Purchase Orders (POs) and Bills of Lading (BOLs). The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as the primary contact for customers via phone and email
- Respond promptly to inquiries regarding orders, pricing, product availability, lead times, and shipment status
- Resolve customer issues and complaints in a professional and timely manner
- Provide order confirmations, shipping updates, and follow-up communication as needed
- Enter and process customer orders accurately in the ERP system
- Verify pricing, quantities, and delivery terms
- Coordinate with production and warehouse teams to ensure on-time fulfillment
- Maintain accurate customer records and documentation
- Schedule shipments and coordinate freight with carriers
- Track shipments and provide delivery updates to customers
- Assist in resolving shipping discrepancies, delays, or damages
- Communicate with freight providers regarding pickups, rates, and delivery confirmations
- Assist shipping and receiving team with preparation and verification of Purchase Orders (POs)
- Prepare, review, and process Bills of Lading (BOLs) for outgoing shipments
- Ensure shipping documentation is accurate and compliant with company and carrier requirements
- Support inventory verification and documentation as needed
Skills & Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred
- 2+ years of customer service experience, preferably in a manufacturing or logistics environment
- Experience with ERP systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
- Familiarity with shipping documentation, POs, and BOLs preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
