Behavioral Healthcare Provider
The Behavioral Health Provider operates under the general supervision of the facility behavioral health services supervisor. In this part-time contract role, you will provide group treatment and one-on-one individual sessions to assigned youth. You will provide documentation of clinical services provided and clinical summaries and updates to the behavioral health supervisor for the youth's treatment team. Your work will contribute to positive outcomes and youth well-being within this unique context.
Responsibilities include providing group treatment for youth with court orders or clinically assessed needs. You will provide individual, one-on-one therapy sessions for assigned youth on the mental health caseload. You will ensure meticulous completion of all necessary documentation. Collaboration with the behavioral health services is essential to facilitate seamless service delivery. Unusual working conditions may include exposure to clients who may be potentially violent.
You may also be exposed to unusual noise, odors, or contagious diseases.
Experience in providing group and individual therapy to adolescents. Preference for those clinicians with experience working with adolescents who are involved in the justice system. Must hold one of the following independent licenses:
Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW). Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC). Licensed Independent Marriage and Family Therapist (IMFT).
