Training and Qualifications Manager Responsibilities

The Regional Training & Qualifications Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining standardized training programs across multiple facilities. This role ensures compliance with company training requirements and supports operational excellence by partnering with internal teams and external vendors. The manager will oversee training completion metrics through the Learning Management System (LMS) and drive initiatives to achieve monthly compliance goals.

  • Collaborate with leadership to design and implement standardized training programs for all plants.
  • Ensure training content aligns with regulatory requirements, company policies, and operational best practices.
  • Maintain and update training materials in the LMS.
  • Identify and engage with approved training vendors for specialized programs.
  • Manage vendor relationships to ensure timely delivery of training sessions.
  • Negotiate contracts and monitor vendor performance.
  • Monitor LMS data to track training completion rates across facilities.
  • Generate and analyze monthly compliance reports; identify gaps and implement corrective actions.
  • Partner with plant leadership to ensure training goals are met.
  • Travel to various plant locations to provide on‑site training support and audits.
  • Conduct assessments to verify training effectiveness and adherence to standards.
  • Serve as a resource for plant managers and supervisors on training‑related issues.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Education, Operations Management, or related field (preferred).
  • 3+ years of experience in training, qualifications, or operations within manufacturing (food industry preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of LMS platforms and training compliance processes.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Ability to travel extensively (up to 50%).
Skills & Competencies
  • Proficiency in LMS administration and reporting.
  • Vendor management and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently in a field‑based role.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and regulatory compliance (preferred).
