Solenis is hiring a technician to support our business at paper mills in Massillon, OH. The role involves lab tests, data collection, equipment maintenance, monitoring and installation of equipment, and collaboration with mill personnel. On-the-job training and safety-focused onboarding will be provided by the local Solenis team and corporate personnel.

Compensation information:
The expected range is between $57,000.00 and $95,000.00 plus discretionary bonuses. The exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and other factors permitted by law.

• Perform lab tests and data collection to support mill operations.
• Maintain and monitor equipment; assist with installation as needed.
• Work closely with mill personnel (customers) to ensure smooth operations and safety.
• Receive on-the-job training and support from the local Solenis team and corporate personnel.
• Adhere to Solenis safety policies and participate in safety training as a core part of the role.

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Ability to work in an industrial environment (exposure to hot/cold areas, industrial noise; use of hearing protection as required).
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Plumbing, mechanical, or electrical skills; knowledge in at least one of these areas. Experience with pumping liquids through piping, hoses, and tubing is beneficial; on-the-job training will cover all areas.
• Experience with simple lab work is beneficial; mechanical skills are emphasized over lab skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel) is preferred; data input in Excel is beneficial and trainable on the job.
• Good interpersonal communication skills and strong troubleshooting abilities; team-oriented approach and safety-mindedness.
