Responsibilities- Packaging Machine Operator position at Millennium Plant in Massillon, Ohio.
- Run, change over, ensure efficiency and quality across 3-5 packaging machines.
- Communicate changes and plans to team members in the immediate area and to supervision.
- Perform a defined set of computer tasks at specific times throughout the shift.
- Set up and operate packaging equipment, follow precise recipes and work procedures, monitor and adjust variables, and perform product quality tests and data collection.
- React to directions from quality assurance and management personnel.
- Be exposed to allergens, chemicals, extreme equipment, and temperatures.
- Multi-task and prioritize activities throughout the day.
- Use hand tools as part of job duties.

- Troubleshooting Skills — Ability to diagnose problems and address issues for mechanical and automation equipment. 2-5 years of machine operator or maintenance apprentice experience preferred.
- Computer Skills — Basic computer skills required to run production; verifications on computer will be done routinely.
- Time Management — Effectively manage one’s own time; quality verifications performed at specific intervals and changes overs completed within allotted time.
- Flexibility — Available for training, pre-shift meetings, weekends, and overtime when needed.
- Physical Demands — Ability to move, twist, or lift up to 60 lbs; team lift of 75 lbs; require various vision abilities; able to stand for long periods.

Pay Range
Salary Range: USD $23.30/hr – USD $26.60/hr
