Pay:$12.00 / hour

Schedule: Fridays required, plus 3 scheduled days Mon–Thurs (additional hours as needed for events)

At River Tree Christian Church, we aim to create warm, welcoming environments across all our ministries. We are seeking a dependable, service-minded Part-Time Assistant Cook to join our Food Service Team.

In this role, your primary focus will be in our kitchen, preparing nutritious meals and snacks for our preschool students, while occasionally supporting church-wide events. If you love culinary work, thrive in a collaborative environment, and enjoy serving young children, we would love to have you on our team!

• Preschool Meal Prep: Prepare daily lunches and snacks for our preschool students, track food allergies and student counts accurately, and maintain positive teamwork in the kitchen.

• Kitchen Operations: Kickstart the morning kitchen setup, assist with inventory management, and take pride in maintaining exceptional kitchen safety and hygiene.

• Event Support: Assist with setup, food prep, serving, and teardown for special church and school events.

• Spiritual Alignment: Demonstrates a daily pursuit of Christ, a commitment to personal spiritual growth, and a heart for service.

  Experience:
  
  Prior food prep or kitchen experience is preferred, though we are happy to train the right candidate.

• Physical Capability: Ability to stand for long periods, bend, and lift/carry standard kitchen supplies.
