Senior Technician, General Facilities Maintenance

Position Summary

Senior General Facilities Maintenance Technician for Walmart stores. Responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and preventing issues with commercial food equipment and related systems, while training store associates and ensuring documentation and safety standards are met.

• Maintain and repair food equipment, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and material‑handling equipment using hand and power tools.
• Use the work order management system to accept reactive repair work orders and document all repair activities.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect, operate, or test facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose problems.
• Complete all required safety and equipment training.

• 18 years or older with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid, clean driver’s license and ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) report.
• Vocational or technical certification with 5 years of experience in plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or a related trade; or 7 years in any of those trades.
• Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet, email, and presentation software (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work at heights frequently.

• Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) eligibility.
• Experience with intermediate‑level functionality of Microsoft Office tools.
• Prior experience in a fast‑paced retail or general facilities maintenance environment.
