You will travel between sites, gaining hands-on experience as you assist with the day-to-day upkeep of critical healthcare infrastructure, ranging from plumbing and electrical repairs to general carpentry and safety inspections.
Your work is fundamental to keeping these vital facilities running smoothly, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for patients and medical staff alike. We believe in balance and professional development, which is why this role offers a stable Monday through Friday day shift schedule. While there is a possibility of rotating on-call duties to support our client needs, we ensure you have the mentorship and resources required to tackle any challenge with confidence.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine checks on life-safety systems to ensure compliance and proper functionality across multiple facilities.
- Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
- Inspect fire extinguishers, exit signs, and emergency lighting to verify correct placement, proper illumination, accurate pressure levels, and up-to-date inspection tags.
- Review assigned work orders and estimate the time and materials needed to complete repairs. Manage and track completion.
- Inspect new or existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
- Use communication skills to exchange straightforward information. Respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers, and supervisors.
- Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems while having a limited opportunity to exercise discretion.
- Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1-2 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
- Valid Driver's License required.
- Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
- Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
- Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
- Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
- Basic math skills. Ability to calculate simple figures such as percentages, discounts, and markups.
