Job Title
Behavioral Healthcare Provider 1 – 20% Supplemental Bonus (260002OT)

LocationIndian River Juvenile Correctional Facility, 2775 Indian River Road, Massillon, OH
ScheduleFull-time – 40 hours per week
Responsibilities- Within scope of practice, performs psychosocial interventions with youth, including individual, family, or group counseling, testing, education, and developing intervention goals and objectives to resolve client problems and enhance functioning; participates in establishing, implementing, and evaluating treatment system goals; interviews youth and family to set case goals; assesses clients and determines specific intervention techniques, monitors responses, provides feedback, and evaluates progress.
- Maintains necessary data documents to satisfy federal, state, and local agency requirements, prepares social histories, admission and aftercare summaries, court documents, and completes forms required by law or department policy.
- Serves on treatment teams and program development teams, attends training and interdepartmental meetings, court hearings, and establishes and maintains working relationships with other facilities, agencies, and support services to coordinate referrals and follow-up services.
- Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor II (LCDC II) by Ohio Chemical Dependency Professionals Board.
- Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) by Ohio Counselor, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy Board.
- Licensed Social Worker (LSW) by Ohio Counselor, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy Board.
- Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (MFT) by the State of Ohio Counselor, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy Board.
- Licensed Registered Nurse with a practice specialty certificate in Mental Health or Psychiatric Nursing issued by Ohio Board of Nursing.
- Licensed Registered Nurse plus completion of a Master’s degree in Psychology or other mental‑health‑related field.
- Licensed Registered Nurse plus completion of a Master’s degree in Nursing with a Mental Health or Psychiatric Nursing concentration.
