DIP Night Monitor

Overview

Driver Intervention Program (DIP) Night Monitor for Comm Quest is a part-time role located in Massillon. The DIP Night Monitor maintains a safe, secure, and clean environment for the DIP experience. Night Monitor personnel ensure adherence to DIP rules and manage crises as needed. Programs run Thursday through Sunday and Thursday through Wednesday; work 3-day and 6-day programs two to three times per month.

• Conduct searches of all participants' belongings upon entry to the program
• Assist in securing medications
• Ensure adherence to all DIP rules
• Manage participants as needed
• Complete occurrence reports / incident reports and/or progress notes documenting remarkable circumstances (e.g., illness, facility problems, serious rule infractions, participant termination)
• Conduct frequent headcounts per shift to ensure all participants are present (meal times, before sessions, after incidents, lights out, breaks, wake up, sleep hours, etc.)
• All other duties as assigned

• Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED
• Must work overnight / third shift
• Ability to be assertive in enforcing rules and policies while maintaining a calm and professional approach
• Comfort speaking in front of groups
• Effective communication skills with a wide variety of clientele

This is a part-time night shift position, 4:00 PM - 12:00 AM
