Overview
Job Title: Non-CDL Truck Driver / Shipping & Inventory Coordinator
Classification: Non-Exempt
Shift: 7am-3:30pm - Work hours subject to change as needed to meet production and customer needs.
Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Non-CDL Truck Driver / Shipping & Inventory Coordinator to support daily shipping, receiving, and inventory operations. This position plays a critical role in maintaining material flow and inventory accuracy within a fast-paced industrial environment. This role includes data entry, shipping/receiving coordination, inventory control and driving responsibilities. The ideal candidate must be comfortable working in both an office and warehouse setting and able to manage documentation with precision.
Medical D.O.T. required (Magnetech will provide).
Driving & Material Transport
- Operate company vehicles safely for local pickups and deliveries (Non-CDL).
- Transport materials, components, and finished goods between vendors and facilities.
- Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
- Ensure loads are properly secure and compliant with safety standards.
- Includes proper chaining, tarping of loads up to 12,000 lbs.
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and obtain required signatures.
- Coordinate and schedule LTL freight pickups to meet production timelines.
Shipping, Receiving & Data Management
- Process and complete work orders with accuracy and efficiency.
- Receive incoming materials; verify quantities and documentation against purchase orders.
- Maintain and update inventory records into Sage Platform.
- Process purchase orders. Create requisitions and submit to Buyer.
- Enter shipping, receiving, and inventory transactions in a timely manner.
- Coordinate outbound shipments with LTL carriers and parcel service providers.
- Support inventory cycle counts and reconciliation activities.
- Maintain organized and audit-ready records.
High School

QualificationsSpecific Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license (Non-CDL required) with a clean driving record.
- Strong data entry skills with high level of accuracy.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Experience with inventory systems or ERP software.
- Experience with Sage software is preferred.
- Ability to work in a warehouse/industrial environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize tasks in a production-driven environment.
- Background in manufacturing, fabrication, or industrial distribution.
- Experience coordinating LTL freight and parcel shipments.
- Familiarity with inventory control procedures and material tracking systems.
- Crane operation training.
- Forklift certification and safety training.
- Industrial service and repair setting.
- Combination of warehouse floor and office-based administrative work.
- Travel is required for pickups and deliveries.
