Shipping Associate

Summary/Objective

Shipping Associate is a warehouse employee who plays a key role in the efficient distribution of our warehouse deliveries and arrivals. Working in conjunction with all warehouses operational staff, a Picker selects, bundles, and organizes products from the warehouse in preparation for loading onto delivery trucks en-route to customers. Pickers and Packers prepare multiple orders timely and resourcefully throughout the working day.

• Accurately and efficiently pick and pack product to established standards from storage shelves using barcodes, serial numbers, etc.
• Run Scan equipment.
• Receive and make labels and boxes.
• Determine and build packaging based on product size.
• Meet established productivity and quality standards.
• Read item and location codes on orders to accurately pick product.
• Follow all safety regulations.

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Agility to stand and walk for extended periods of time as a primary job responsibility. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs intermittently during a typical work shift. Observance of established safety guidelines in conducting physical work activity duties.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands; and reach with hands and arms.

This is a largely sedentary role; however, some movement amongst the office building may be required.

This can be a Full or Part Time position with varying hours from 7 am to 7:30 pm. Monday through Friday.

This position does not have any travel requirements.
