Category Analyst

• Analyze sales data, category performance, and market trends to support business growth and decision-making.
• Prepare and maintain weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales and performance reports.
• Identify trends, patterns, and improvement opportunities across product categories and store performance.
• Develop vendor/manufacturer scorecards to evaluate brand and supplier performance.
• Conduct SKU and category optimization to improve product mix, shelf space utilization, and sales velocity.
• Partner with merchandising, marketing, finance, and operations teams to deliver data-driven insights.
• Create dashboards, reports, and presentations to communicate insights to leadership and key stakeholders.
• Perform ad-hoc analysis requests from senior management, store owners, and cross-functional teams.
• Support store performance tracking including demographic analysis, store compliance reporting, and sales trend monitoring.
• Experience working with syndicated data platforms and enterprise systems such as Circana and SAP is considered a strong plus (nice to have).
