PAY RATE
: $24 PER HOUR
We are actively hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to join our team! This opportunity is perfect for compassionate, self-motivated, and energetic individuals who are eager to support individuals in their journey toward independence.
This job requires medication administration
- We provide this training although it is UNPAID.
- Provide one-on-one support to an individual with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
- Guidance with daily activities i.e. light housekeeping, grooming, setting up for arts& Crafts activities, exploring other events and fun things to do in the community therefore
- Provide guidance as needed with their personal goals while promoting independence and community engagement.
- Support participation in small outings and community-based activities.
- Create and maintain a positive, person-centered approach to care.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of the individuals at all times.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and a good driving record.
- Minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent
- Must be willing to undergo a background check and drug screening.
- Ability to work legally in the United States.
- Comfortable with community-based support and engaging in local outings.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Person-centered mindset with a positive attitude and open-mindedness.
- Passionate about working with individuals with disabilities and promoting independence.
