Role Overview :

As a Part Time Evening Caregiver at Assisting Hands Home Care of Edison, you will be responsible for providing compassionate in-home care to our clients during various shifts. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with our caregiving team to ensure the comfort, safety, and well-being of our clients. Working on-site, you'll have the opportunity to create meaningful connections while supporting individuals in their daily activities and routines.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist clients with personal care tasks, including dressing, bathing, and grooming.

Provide companionship and engage clients in conversation and activities.

Administer medication as prescribed and help manage clients' health records.

Ensure a safe and clean living environment for the clients.

Collaborate with nursing and caregiving teams to report changes in client conditions and meet their needs effectively.

Qualifications:

You're a great fit if you have the following skills.

Compassionate and patient demeanor when interacting with clients.

Strong communication skills in English.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team-focused environment.

Prior experience in caregiving or a related field is advantageous.

Flexible availability to accommodate client needs during evening hours.

Certification as a Home Health Aide (HHA) is required
.

Bonus If You:

Have relevant certifications, such as CNA

Speak additional languages to support our diverse client base.

This is a Part-Time position with availability on weekends 11am - 9pm.

Location:

This position is on-site in Matawan, New Jersey, and is open to applicants based in the USA.
