At Madison Township Lumber & Supply Co., Inc., our motto is "Service Second to None". We are seeking a reliable and responsible CDL AND MOFFETT TRUCK DRIVER who will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and timely delivery of lumber and building materials and products.

We are seeking a responsible driver who can operate truck-trailer combinations to transport and deliver materials to customer sites. This driver must adhere to driver safety and compliance regulations delivering undamaged goods on schedule and provide professional customer service to our customers. Driver must also be able to operate vehicles weighing more than 26,000 pounds.

• Verifies order details and checks items against invoice to ensure order accuracy prior to leaving yard
• May assist with loading and appropriately securing product, materials or supplies. Driver will check load and ensure it is properly secured before leaving yard
• Deliver customer orders to specified delivery site. Maneuvers vehicles into loading and unloading positions ensuring that vehicle and loading equipment are properly positioned. Takes all precautions to protect the product and the customer s property
• Driver will act as a liaison between the company and the customer. Handles customer concerns and helps resolve issues as they arise
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspection of assigned vehicle and report any discrepancies to the dispatcher immediately
• Maintains the cleanliness and appearance of delivery vehicles
• Performs routine safety checks to ensure vehicle complies with company guidelines
• Must be able to operate a forklift or non-motorized material handling equipment to load and off-load materials to designated areas
• Ensure compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations. and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines.

• Valid driver license and CDL Class A license with proper endorsements
• A minimum of 1 year delivery driving experience. 2 years of CDL driving experience are strongly desired
• Must be able to obtain a DOT medical card within 5 days of a request
• Basic math and measurement skills
• Ability to read and speak English fluently
• Clean driving record
• Moffett truck operating experience
• Ability to read maps and navigate to job sites in a timely manner

• Must be able to lift and carry up to 100 pounds
• May be required to perform specific tasks that involve climbing, lifting, pushing or kneeling
