Position: Electrician  -  £39,290 per annum

We're recruiting an Approved Electrician to join a well-established, highly respected Housing Association covering Matlock and the surrounding area. This is a permanent, mobile role offering excellent pay, strong long-term security, and the backing of a supportive, skilled team.

You'll be trusted to deliver quality electrical work across void properties, carrying out remedial works, maintenance, testing and repairs - all while keeping the customer at the heart of what you do.

Salary & Benefits

£39,290 basic salary

Overtime & out-of-hours payments on top

25 days holiday + option to buy up to 5 extra days

The Role

Electrical maintenance, remedial works, testing and repairs

Working across void domestic properties

Delivering excellent customer service in customers' homes

Working on an out-of-hours rota, including some evening, weekend and Sunday work

Mobile role covering Matlock and surrounding areas

This is a varied role - no two days are the same. Expectations are high, but you'll be fully supported by a strong, experienced team who take pride in their work.

What We're Looking For

Completed Electrical Apprenticeship or equivalent

NVQ Level 3 & City & Guilds Level 3 in Electrical Installation

AM2

18th Edition Wiring Regulations

City & Guilds 2391 or equivalent (Testing & Inspection)

Solid testing experience

Proven experience working in domestic properties

Previous experience with a Housing Association, Social Landlord or Local Authority (highly desirable)

Strong customer service skills and professional approach

Full UK driving licence - essential

Due to working in customers' homes, a DBS check is required.
