Kitchen & Bath Designer

The Norfolk Companies is seeking a Kitchen & Bath Designer to create functional, stylish designs for homeowners and contractors in our wholesale building materials environment. You'll meet with clients, assess needs, prepare detailed layouts and 20/20 drawings, and recommend cabinets, countertops, fixtures, and hardware. Collaborate closely with sales, installers, and vendors to ensure accurate orders and smooth project delivery. This role combines design expertise with product knowledge and customer service.

As part of a family-founded, team-oriented company, you'll build long-term client relationships and grow your skills across multiple Norfolk divisions.

Responsibilities

• Meet with homeowners and contractors to assess kitchen and bath needs and budgets
• Create detailed layouts and renderings using 20/20 or similar design software
• Recommend cabinets, countertops, fixtures, and hardware aligned with client needs and product availability
• Prepare accurate quotes, proposals, and change orders
• Coordinate with sales, warehouse, and installation teams to ensure correct ordering and delivery
• Review plans and measurements to minimize errors and rework
• Maintain product and technical knowledge of cabinetry, surfaces, and accessories
• Provide showroom support, including displays, samples, and merchandising
• Manage multiple projects and deadlines while delivering strong customer service
• Support cross-selling opportunities across Norfolk divisions and services
