Photography Assistant and Stylist

$18.00/hr - $20.00/hr

We are looking for a detail-oriented and hands-on individual to support our photographer during our Holiday Catalog production. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys the fast-paced energy of a creative set, has an eye for detail, and is eager to help present fine jewelry beautifully and accurately for our guests.

You’ll work closely with our photographer, stylists, and creative team to make sure every shot shines—literally!

From setting up lights and prepping merchandise, to styling jewelry and helping keep shoots on schedule, this position is an essential part of ensuring our holiday imagery is produced flawlessly.

This is a Part-Time role through November, ideal for someone looking to gain professional set experience in commercial photography while contributing to the sparkle of our busiest season.

• Assist with the setup and tear down of photo sets, including lights, stands, and backgrounds.
• Check in and check out jewelry for each shoot day.
• Coordinate with buying team to obtain any missing merchandise needed for the shoot.
• Help set up and organize Capture One sessions.
• Prep and clean jewelry to ensure its photo-ready, placing it on set as needed.
• Assist in styling jewelry on set according to the creative concept and brand guidelines.
• Help secure and organize props, equipment, and models.
• Assist with wardrobe selection and preparation.
• Help maintain the daily shooting schedule and ensure sessions run smoothly.

• Interest or experience in photography, styling, or visual merchandising (experience on commercial or editorial sets is a plus).
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Reliable, punctual, and proactive with tasks.
• Ability to lift and move equipment and stand for extended periods.
