SummaryAs a Planner I, you will be involved in the day-to-day manufacturing operations, managing inventory level, and maximizing the company’s profitability. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels across the supply chain, from raw materials to finished goods. You will require collaboration with production, procurement, and warehouse teams, as well as proficiency in IT systems and physical inventory audits.
Responsibilities- Ensured production goals were met by coordinating with outsourced packers
- Understanding and ability to manage end-to-end material flow, from raw materials to final product
- Preferred experience in optimizing logistics processes across receiving, storage, and dispatch
- Ability to calculate material requirements using BOM and production plans and
manage material allocation efficiently - Proven experience in improving inventory turnover, maintain optimal stock levels, and handling long-term
or obsolete inventory - Skilled in planning and operating Pack inventory based on production fluctuations and demand forecasts
- Ability to establish KPI-driven inventory policies to minimize overstock and stockouts
- Experience in proactive supply planning and urgent response systems to prevent delays or
shortages in material supply - Strong coordination skills to ensure consistency between material supply and production planning
- Experience in planning and conducting regular and ad-hoc physical inventory audits
- Ability to analyze inventory discrepancies and lead corrective actions based on root cause findings
- Set up weekly meetings between SCM, Marketing, Purchasing and Production Management Teams
- Analyze the gap between performance and goals and dig up improvement plan
- Work closely with production strategy to align production KPIs and company's goals
- Defining appropriate Inventory stock level and checking the observance of inventory operation policy
- Monitor material supply flow and identify any shortages or bottlenecks in usage(from raw material, semi product, final product)
- Promptly address and resolving production issues to minimize delays in production
- Promptly discuss the relevant departments regarding changes to current production schedules
- ESS – Automotive division’s cell internal transaction tasks (SO issuance, Shipment planning and management)
- Leadership scheduling and support
- Perform other duties as assigned
Experience:
- 1 to 3+ years of experience in manufacturing, preferably in the ESS industry
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Leadership and interpersonal skills
- High attention to detail and understanding of multiple metrics
