ECamp Summer Counselor

This is an application for an eCamp Summer Counselor position at our central Matthews campus. The eCamp staff are all followers of Jesus who take their representation of Jesus and of the church seriously, both at work and loyees are strong, positive influences in the campers’ lives and are committed to the vision of Elevation Church and eCamp.

• Create a safe, engaging, and fun environment for campers in your care
• Facilitate and implement camp programming and curriculum as provided by the Curriculum Director
• Lead and actively participate in all scheduled activities, chapel experiences, and field trips as directed by the Assistant Director
• Serve as a positive role model by demonstrating respect, teamwork, and encouraging confidence and healthy social skills
• Monitor campers for health or safety concerns and administer basic first aid as needed
• Maintain accurate attendance records and ensure camper accountability at all times
• Communicate clearly and effectively with fellow counselors, camp leadership, and support staff
• Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe classroom and activity environment

• Both full-time and part-time opportunities are available for the summer (June-August), with flexible scheduling when needed
• Standard Program hours are Monday-Thursday, 8:00AM-5:30PM, though individual schedules may vary
• The church office is open Monday-Thursday from 8:30AM-5:00PM and is closed on Fridays (Excluding holidays or special circumstances)
• This role works across eCamp, eCamp Jr., and eVenture, serving multiple age groups

• Active participation in a church (we look for a lifestyle of inviting people to church, volunteering, generosity, and prioritizing community)
• Passion for children and families
• Ability to make sound, critical decisions under pressure
• A team player with excellent communication skills
• Great attention to detail and time-management skills

• Experience working in a non-profit environment or ministry setting
• Experience working at a Summer Camp or Childcare Facility
