Built by Coalition is a small, highly specialized residential construction firm delivering thoughtful, design-forward custom homes and renovations. Every project is personal. Every decision matters. We are seeking a Residential Construction Project Manager who thrives in that environment – someone who understands that clarity and client trust are the real product.
This role is central to the firm's success. You will manage complex residential projects from pre‑construction handoff through close‑out, acting as the primary steward of schedule, budget, quality, accountability and client experience.
This Role is primarily a Project Management position; however, it is important for this position to have the ability to Construction Manage as well, due to the nature of a small specialized company.
THE OPPORTUNITYAs Project Manager, you will be entrusted with full responsibility for your projects – not just managing tasks, but leading outcomes. You'll work closely with Homeowners, designers, trades, the Construction Manager, and clients to deliver homes that reflect precision, pride, and professionalism at every stage.
This is a career-defining role for a PM who wants authority, trust, and accountability – not bureaucracy.
What You Will Be Responsible For- Training and education
- We believe growth is always possible and necessary for each member of Built By Coalition. Project Managers will train and be trained in their role with a specific program tailored to their specific needs for areas of growth.
- Manage Projects on Builder Trend
- Full lifecycle management of high‑end residential construction projects through Builder Trend software and job site management
- Ownership and management of the total scope of work, schedules, allowance selections, Change orders, weekly logs and budgets
- Coordination and planning with construction managers, architects, designers, consultants, and trade partners
- Maintaining clean documentation on Builder Trend and transparent reporting
- Weekly client meetings & logs
- Client communication and expectation management at a premium level through weekly client job site meetings and weekly logs
- Purchasing
- All purchasing through our Purchase Order Process on Builder Trend
- All Trade Partner draw releases related to each project
- Leadership
- CM is accountable to the Project Manager insuring the Built By Coalition "process" is applied to each project
- CM is accountable to the Project Manager to ensure Job site cleanliness, quality, safety, and adherence to design intent
- Attend and lead Weekly Production meeting with PM's and CM's
- Proactive issue resolution – anticipating problems before they reach the client
- Projects delivered on schedule, on budget, and without drama
- Clients who feel informed, respected, and confident throughout the process
- Construction Managers who feel informed, respected, and confident throughout the process
- Trades who know what's expected and show up prepared, as a reflection of leadership and accountability between PM/CM
- Ownership that can trust the job is being run properly without micromanagement
- 5+ years of residential construction project management experience
- Proven background in custom or luxury residential construction
- Hands‑on experience with Builder Trend or similar platforms (CoConstruct, Procore, etc.)
- Strong understanding of residential construction sequencing and cost controls
- High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple moving parts
- Professional, calm, and confident client-facing presence
- Proven ability to manage complex construction schedules and high-end clients
- Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with a small team
- Ability to Project manage or Construction manage (two different jobs but sometimes one in the same due to nature of a small company)
