Job Opportunity:
Greek Language Teacher at Socrates Academy
Socrates Academy — a public charter school dedicated to Greek language and culture — is seeking afull-time, on-site Greek Language Teacher for grades
K–12.
The ideal candidate will deliver a rigorous, standards-based curriculum, design engaging lessons aligned with World Language and Ellinomatheia Standards, and foster a supportive, immersive environment for non-native Greek learners.
Qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field (required)
- Minimum two years of classroom teaching experience in public or private schools (required)
- Experience teaching Greek as a foreign language
- Strong lesson planning and curriculum design skills
- Excellent command of English
- Experience in language immersion programs
The academic year begins
August 12th, with teacher orientation required at least one week prior.
