The Greater Pittsburgh Food Bank is seeking a student to assist in managing an orchard on the Eden Hall campus of Chatham University. The student will monitor the orchard weekly, irrigate trees as needed, and report findings to Laura Livingston and Marc Rattay.
Learning outcomes include IPM, phenology, and irrigation observation. Hours start at 2–3 per week in March, rising to about 5 hours in peak summer, then tapering to 2–3 hours in fall.
