Town of Matthews seeks Police Officer Trainee (non-certified) to join the Matthews Police Department. You will undergo testing for the July 2026 BLET Academy with February/March 2026 exams. Upon certification and sworn status, officers receive a 5% base salary increase.
New hires may receive $2,000 on the first paycheck, with up to $3,000 more for prior related experience. Comprehensive benefits are provided during employment.
