You will collaborate with external clients to understand the problem/opportunity space, define requirements, and usher projects through the entire project lifecycle. The successful candidate is equally at home explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical trade-offs in product development with engineers.

Using your extensive technical and project delivery leadership expertise, you will manage projects of various size and scope, identifying future opportunities, improving processes, and driving the technical directions of your projects.

Required Skills:

  • Software industry experience, including systems engineering, hardware engineering, or technical product/program management experience.
  • Technical Project Manager or TPM
  • JIRA, queries, story mapping, bulk updates

Job Duties:

  • Participate in all phases of our Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Ensure the projects within a program are successfully executed on time, on budget, and in scope while achieving quality by actively managing scope, schedule, resources, and risks.
  • Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to understand or identify defined work problems and program goals, obtain prioritized deliverables, and discuss project impacts.
  • Prioritize project goals, understand, and translate external stakeholders' needs into project success criteria.
  • Accountable for the planning and execution of medium-complexity technology projects as part of a cross-functional team.
  • Review key metrics pertaining to a project, monitor potential metric deviations and define corrective actions for critical deviations.
  • Ensures that all non-functional requirements (such as reliability, scalability, and security) are documented, incorporated into plans, tracked, and executed appropriately.
  • Manages the end-to-end delivery including the collection and translation of business requirements into detailed project plans.
  • Effectively plan and run meetings, articulating and tracking dependencies and managing service providers and stakeholders to successful project completion.
  • Rigorously manages scope.
  • Plans and coordinates project deliverables across multiple internal and external teams.
  • Communicates frequently and capably with a diverse audience, tailoring channel and message depending on needs and desired outcomes. Is influential and can drive positive change.
  • Contribute to an environment where people and technology thrive together to accomplish more than they could apart.
  • To build trust, initiate and lead candid conversations with teams, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Provide high-touch and hands-on team guidance, support, and coaching in close cooperation and collaboration across all roles and functions to facilitate increasing velocity at a sustainable pace.
  • Demonstrated ability to build, develop, and coach high-performing engineering teams.
  • Understand and speak other processes and methodologies and leverage those other techniques to provide value to a team and our clients. Meeting people where they are.
  • Explains technologies and solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
