Certified Mig Welder (Gmaw-P)
$27.00/hour | Day Shift | 5:00 AM – 1:00 PM | Monday–Friday
This Role Is for Experienced Welders OnlyIf you're a skilled MIG welder who can read prints, lay clean welds, and keep production moving without being micromanaged, this is the job for you. We're looking for professionals who show up on time, work safely, and take pride in their workmanship.
What You'll Be Responsible For- Reading and executing blueprints, BOMs, and fabrication drawings
- Fitting, welding, and fabricating structural and production steel components
- Performing GMAW-P (Pulse MIG) welding and related processes
- Measuring, cutting, prepping, and assembling materials to spec
- Inspecting your own welds and ensuring quality standards are met
- Operating shop equipment: saws, grinders, torches, plasma cutter, overhead cranes, forklifts
- Keeping your work area clean, organized, and production-ready
- Welds are right the first time
- Parts match prints with minimal rework
- Production goals are met without sacrificing safety or quality
- You work independently and stay productive throughout the shift
- Proven MIG welding experience (GMAW-P preferred)
- Strong safety mindset — no shortcuts
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Able to take direction and execute without constant supervision
- Comfortable in a fast-paced industrial environment
- Thick-skinned, accountable, and focused on results
- MIG welders
- Saws, torches, plasma cutters
- Overhead cranes, forklifts, material handling equipment
- Routinely lift up to 75 lbs
- Frequent bending, lifting, and positioning of steel components
- Forklifts and cranes available for heavy base plates (magnetic pickup used for tacking)
- Provided:
Ear plugs, safety glasses - Required:
Welding hood, gloves, steel-toed boots
- Industrial fabrication shop
