The Nurse Practitioner provides client medical and/or psychiatric treatment services in consultation with and supervision from the supervising Medical Director/Psychiatrist and/or other care providers, ensuring client medical and psychiatric needs are met in accordance with treatment plans and agency policies and procedures. This role is part‑time, 10‑20 hours per week.

• Assist in diagnostic process during residential client admissions, evaluating clients with focus on past medical and psychiatric history, current status, and agency ability to meet needs.
• Provide and document appropriate residential medical care, including compiling medical history, admission/annual physical examinations, managing acute and chronic illnesses, ordering speech or occupational therapy, ensuring immunizations are up to date, ordering lab studies, referring off‑campus healthcare, providing orders for restrictive interventions, and self‑harm watches as per TCFF policy and procedures.
• Collaborate with Medical Director in coordination between MH/SA services and primary physical or psychiatric healthcare providers.

• Starting pay range: $55.00 – $70.00 per hour (negotiable).

• Valid driver’s license.
• Meet credentialing, licensing, and privileging standards for the program(s) served.
• Eligible for licensure by North Carolina Boards of Nursing and Medicine and in good standing.
• Maintain required training and standards for NC Family Nurse Practitioner or Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner license.
• Maintain documentation of supervision required by NC Boards.
• Minimum three years of relevant professional experience.
• Pediatric experience in a hospital or clinic setting is preferred, working with children and adolescents.
