This travel nursing assignment offers exposure to a dynamic Med Surg/Tele unit, providing hands-on care for patients with a variety of diagnoses, from CHF and pneumonia to sickle cell crisis and acute renal failure. Beginning spring 2026, you'll also encounter hematology/oncology patients (without chemotherapy responsibilities unless certified)-further expanding your clinical scope and résumé.

Schedule/Hours:

• Day and night shifts available
• RN Ratios:
  Days 1:5, Nights 1:6 (critical surge 1:7-8)

Desired Qualifications:

• Active RN license, BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• 18+ months of recent Med/Tele RN experience
• Cardiac rhythm interpretation and experience with non-titrating cardiac drips preferred
• General medical/surgical skill set: IV starts, care of tubes/drains, blood products, wound care
• ONS chemo certification a plus but not required
• Comfortable floating within the regional healthcare system when needed

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver evidence-based nursing care to a diverse patient population
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team: CNAs, pharmacists, case managers, and more
• Document in EPIC EMR, utilize advanced medical technology (Alaris IV pumps, Phillips monitors)
• Maintain a psychologically safe, patient-centered environment on this newly established unit
