• Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing action plans using the Open Door Policy and applying them in executing business processes and practices.
• Operate forklift following company standards and guidelines by safely picking up, moving, placing, and positioning merchandise pallets.
• Complete work assignments and priorities using policies, data, and resources; collaborate with managers, coworkers, customers, and other business partners to identify priorities, deadlines, and expectations; carry out tasks, communicate progress, recommend ways to address improvement opportunities, and adapt and learn from change, difficulties, and feedback.
• Receive stocks and organize merchandise and supplies from distribution centers and suppliers throughout the facility; manage inventory flow following company policy and procedures; utilize equipment appropriately; merchandising working inventory; correct shelf capacities; complete and retain required paperwork, logs, and other documentation.
• Provide member service by acknowledging the member, identifying member needs, providing guidance and support to members regarding self‑service technology, assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, resolving member issues, and promoting the company’s products and services.
• Maintain safety of the facility according to company policies and procedures by conducting safety sweeps; following forklift spotting procedures; handling and disposing of hazardous materials; following company safety standards; and reporting unsafe situations to management.
• Maintain the sales floor and merchandising presentation in accordance with company policies and procedures by zoning the area, stocking and rotating merchandise, removing damaged or out‑of‑date goods, setting up, cleaning, and organizing product displays, maintaining modular integrity, receiving, sorting, staging, and delivering merchandise; ensuring prominent display of promotional and seasonal merchandise; processing defective merchandise; following sanitation and food safety policies; monitoring shrink, security risks, and safety.
• Ensure club pick‑up orders are filled by assisting with picking club pick‑up orders throughout the day; staging; ensuring products are selected and staged according to company policy; ensuring Merchandising Associates pick orders within acceptable timeframe; performing occasional audits for accuracy.
• Handle inventory moves and displays in safe and correct ways; track goods; maintain in‑stock levels; control shrinkage; report poor inventory practices and low in‑stock levels; use inventory tools and equipment in safe ways.
• Operate and maintain forklifts in safe and correct ways; report poor or unsafe conditions; inform Management when forklifts are not in proper working order.
• Proactively identify customers who need help; actively engage them; assist with technology services and items; model usage and help others; identify shrink opportunities and problems; fix issues; properly maintain equipment; ensure products are organized, stocked, and promptly repaired.
