Job Summary:

The Zone Lead (ZL) reports to the Zone Manager and supports merchandising in designated zones, maintaining an active selling culture by ensuring all visual standards are set and upheld to documented company guidelines that drive sales. The ZL provides expertise in visual standards, merchandising techniques, fixturing, and the implementation of all in-store marketing elements—signs, vignettes, endcaps, tables, first look/flash finds—that reinforce seasons, holidays, and promotions within their areas.

The role influences store Team Members to be knowledgeable about visual merchandising while demonstrating ethics, safety, and compliance. The ZL requires enthusiasm for lifting, carrying, moving throughout the warehouse‑format store, and stocking.

• The ZL supports all visual merchandising processes for the store by planning with the Zone Manager and leading transitions, reinventions, product assortment changes, and resets while maintaining visual integrity and a neat, organized environment that inspires guests.
• The ZL manages tasks by planning and executing the daily/weekly workload and tasks delegated by the Zone Manager to achieve visual merchandising, department, and store sales goals and guest engagement.
• The ZL participates in all freight processes for incoming freight and transitions.
• The ZL processes freight, sorts, stocks product in designated areas, including down stocking and end‑cap maintenance, while maintaining a neat, clean, organized zone.
• The ZL supports the store team in customer satisfaction, inventory control, safety, loss prevention expense control, and customer experience, participating in regular meetings and huddles with team members.
• The ZL serves as a role model and coach, providing continuous learning opportunities throughout visual merchandising.
• The ZL communicates and teaches visual priorities and creates visual moments that support the customer experience through daily interactions.
• The ZL reviews the store’s financial and business data from the scorecard—including sales and expenses—and acts within assigned zones to improve metrics.
• The ZL ensures the maintenance of a neat, clean, organized zone, keeping the store up to date with current signage and sets.
• All other duties assigned based on business needs.
• Open availability, requiring nights and weekends.

• At least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be completed.
• Excellent verbal, written, and comprehension skills.
• Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and some holidays.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. and team lift 100 lbs., and to move merchandise routinely throughout the warehouse-format store.
• Ability to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects or controls; reach with hands and arms.
• Ability to stand or walk for prolonged periods.
• Ability to bend, climb, and reach at times, working effectively independently and within a team.
• Strong attention to detail in standards, processes, and marketing.
