Irrigation Service Technician; Experienced

Matthews, NC | $24 to $30 per hour | Up to 65,000 per year

At Fine Turf, our service technicians are the people customers trust to solve problems the right way the first time. We are looking for an experienced irrigation professional who takes pride in clean work, communicates well with customers, and wants to be part of a team that works hard and supports each other.

This is a full time, year round position with consistent work, performance bonuses, and the ability to run your own service route.

• $24 to $30 per hour based on experience

• Diagnose and repair irrigation systems efficiently and accurately
• Troubleshoot electrical and hydraulic issues
• Perform system audits and recommend improvements that make sense for the customer
• Run your service calls independently while staying connected with the team
• Document your work using our mobile software

We are looking for the following qualities in a candidate.

• Experienced in irrigation service and repair
• A strong troubleshooter who does not guess
• Professional with customers and coworkers
• Self motivated and dependable
• Organized and comfortable using mobile technology
• Someone who shows up, does quality work, and backs up their team
• Backflow certification is a plus. We will help you obtain it if needed.
• Valid drivers license with clean history

• Take ownership of their route
• Care about doing the job right, not just getting it done fast
• Help other team members when needed
• Keep a good attitude even on long, hot days
• Can laugh with the team at the end of the day
