The Med Gas Installer will be responsible for installing and supporting medical gas piping systems in accordance with project specifications and industry safety standards.
Responsibilities:
* Install, modify, and repair medical gas piping systems (oxygen, nitrous oxide, medical air, vacuum, etc.)
* Perform brazing in accordance with NFPA 99 standards
* Read and interpret blueprints, specs, and shop drawings
* Pressure test and assist with system verification and inspections
* Work closely with supervisors, inspectors, and other trades on-site
* Maintain compliance with OSHA and site-specific safety requirements
* Ensure quality workmanship on active healthcare/commercial projects
Qualifications
* Valid Medical Gas Certification (ASME / Brazing / NFPA 99 compliant)
* Proven experience on commercial or healthcare construction projects
* Strong knowledge of med gas codes and installation standards
* Ability to pass a background check and drug screen (healthcare project)
* Reliable transportation and tools
