Position Summary:MTB is seeking an experienced and motivated Residential HVAC Lead Installer to join our growing team. This role is responsible for leading installation projects, mentoring junior team members, and ensuring high-quality workmanship on every job. The ideal candidate is hands‑on, detail‑oriented, and committed to delivering exceptional customer service while maintaining efficiency and safety standards.
What You’ll Do:- Lead the installation of residential HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, ductwork, and indoor air quality (IAQ) products.
- Read and interpret blueprints, load calculations, and installation plans.
- Ensure all installations meet company standards, manufacturer specifications, and local codes.
- Train, coach, and support install apprentices and junior technicians.
- Communicate clearly with homeowners to explain system operation and answer questions.
- Maintain accurate job documentation, including materials used and job completion notes.
- Ensure job sites are clean, safe, and organized at all times.
- Troubleshoot installation challenges and provide effective solutions.
- 3–5+ years of residential HVAC installation experience.
- Proven leadership experience or readiness to step into a lead role.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, tools, and installation best practices.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
- EPA Certification (required).
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in attics, crawl spaces, and varying weather conditions.
