Repair Technician

Job Summary:

The Repair Technician plays a hands-on role in supporting mitigation and repair work, ensuring high-quality workmanship and efficient cycle times. This position performs light demolition, assists with setup and monitoring of drying and repair equipment, and completes a wide range of small repairs including carpentry, drywall, painting, and general finish work. The technician also supports mitigation services for water, fire, mold, and other property damage events, responding with urgency and professionalism—especially during after-hours emergency calls.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Learns and effectively uses industry-standard software and company systems.

Performs light demolition and debris removal in accordance with project scope and safety procedures.

Assists with the setup, placement, monitoring, and removal of drying and mitigation equipment.

Performs a variety of small repairs, including carpentry, drywall installation and repair, painting, trim work, and general finish work.

Assists with mitigation services for water, fire, mold, and other property damage projects.

Maintains a consistent presence on assigned projects, ensuring accountability and follow-through from start to finish.

Performs assigned work in accordance with project scopes, work orders, established procedures, and quality standards.

Documents work performed, equipment placement, moisture readings, project progress, and other required information.

Maintains tools, equipment, vehicles, and work areas in a clean, safe, and organized condition.

Provides professional and courteous customer service to homeowners, property managers, and other customers.

Communicates project updates, concerns, and changes to the appropriate team members and customers as appropriate.

Participates in the company's on-call rotation and responds to after-hours emergency calls as scheduled.

Reports to emergency projects within established response-time expectations.

Follows all company safety policies, procedures, and applicable OSHA requirements.

Properly uses required personal protective equipment (PPE).Reports unsafe conditions, injuries, property damage, or other incidents to management.

Ability to adapt to changing project conditions and customer needs.

Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by business needs.

Ability to maintain a professional demeanor when working in occupied homes and other customer properties.

Valid driver's license and driving record that meets company and insurance requirements.

Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or GED preferred; equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant experience may be considered.
