- Provide care, supervision and structure, and advocate to build therapeutic relationships with youth in your care. You will work with a team dedicated to the same goal and partner with various functional professionals to support each youth's success.
- Day‑to‑day care of youth currently residing with us, including engaging in activities, supporting the treatment process for youth aged 10‑17 (both males and females who may be highly acute and potentially aggressive), and completing other tasks assigned by your supervisor.
- Work the rotating 2nd Shift schedule: 7 pm–7 am.
- Week 1:
Monday, Thursday, Friday - Week 2:
Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday
- Week 1:
- Mandatory attendance at a 4‑day, 9 am–5 pm Therapeutic Crisis Intervention training program prior to engaging with clients.
- All residential staff must pass a Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) training and demonstrate proper physical therapeutic techniques and holds.
- Starting pay range: $17.00‑$19.50 per hour.

- BA/BS Degree in the Human Services field strongly preferred.
- High school diploma/GED and two years’ relevant experience working with youth considered in lieu of a BA/BS degree.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and excellent written and oral communication skills.
- All potential candidates must pass a drug screening test and an extensive background check.
While performing the duties of this job, employees are required to walk, sit, use hands, reach with arms, talk and hear. Vision abilities required include close, distant, color, peripheral vision and depth perception. Employees will perform a wide variety of physical tasks such as standing, walking, running, stooping, bending, climbing stairs and lifting individuals. Employees must be agile enough to control and extricate themselves and children from buildings in case of an emergency and be capable of running a required distance to apprehend a fleeing youth.
