ZABS Place, a non-profit thrift boutique in Matthews, NC is looking to hire courteous service oriented individuals to pickup furniture donations and/or deliver furniture purchases.
This position is 1 day/week and has scheduling flexibility to work around your existing schedule.
Ability to lift heavy things is a requirement.
Responsibilities- Drive vehicle to pickup donated furniture.
- Drive vehicle to deliver purchased furniture to ZABS customers.
- Navigate a variety of routes throughout the city while adhering to a time schedule.
- Prepare furniture, carefully load and deliver furniture.
- Coordinate with Warehouse Manager.
- Complete logs and reports.
- Valid Driver's License
- Clean background check & driving record
- Experience driving cargo van or small truck (driver only)
- Punctuality and reliability
- Customer service experience
- Shows respect and understanding while adhering to organization standards
- Self-motivation and initiative and is hard-working even when not under direct supervision
- A great space concept and can problem-solve to maneuver furniture in tight spaces
