Job Overview

Carolina Lumper Service (CLS) is hiring Warehouse Associates to support shoe fulfillment and inventory projects for a major footwear distribution operation in Matthews, NC.

• Pay: $18.00 per hour

• Daytime schedule
• Typically 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM or 4:00 PM
• Monday through Friday
• Occasional Sunday work as needed
• Project-based assignments

Carolina Lumper Service (CLS) is hiring Warehouse Associates to support shoe fulfillment and inventory projects for a major footwear distribution operation in Matthews, NC.

This position assists with preparing shoe orders for shipment during product releases and supporting warehouse inventory projects throughout the year. Projects may range from several days to multiple weeks depending on client needs.

No warehouse experience is required. We are looking for dependable individuals who are willing to learn, work safely, and contribute as part of a team.

• Assemble shipping boxes.
• Pack shoe orders according to customer specifications.
• Insert packing slips and shipping documentation.
• Apply shipping labels to completed orders.
• Seal and prepare packages for shipment.
• Stack completed orders onto pallets.
• Load completed shipments onto outbound Fed Ex trailers.
• Assist with inventory counts and product verification.
• Open cartons and verify product information during inventory projects.
• Operate pallet jacks when needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow all warehouse safety procedures.

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and work throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.
• Reliable transportation to Matthews, NC.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to work well with a team.

• Previous warehouse, fulfillment, retail distribution, or general labor experience is helpful.
• Pallet jack experience is preferred but not required.

• No warehouse experience required.
• Training provided.
• E-Verify and I-9 employment verification required.
• Work opportunities are scheduled around client product releases and inventory projects.
• Current project timing is expected to begin around Father's Day, with updates confirmed by the client schedule.
• Most projects are communicated several days in advance.
