Collect and review tax exemption certificates (sales tax, resale, nonprofit, government, etc.) from customers;
Verify certificate completeness and validity; follow up with stores/customers when not properly completed;
Utilize ECM to track expiration dates and proactively request updated or renewed certificates;
Identify and resolve missing, expired, or invalid certificates gaps to reduce audit exposure;
Run periodic reports on exempt sales and certificate status
