Are you an experienced Heavy Civil Superintendent looking to take on complex infrastructure projects across the Chicagoland area? Our client, a respected general contractor and heavy civil builder
, is seeking a field leader with strong experience in bridge, highway, IDOT, and Tollway work
.

• Oversee daily field operations on bridge, roadway, and infrastructure projects.
• Manage crews, subcontractors, and equipment to ensure safety, quality, and schedule adherence.
• Coordinate closely with project managers, engineers, and inspectors (IDOT/Tollway).
• Enforce all safety policies and maintain a clean, compliant jobsite.
• Track progress, maintain field reports, and support project closeout.

• 5+ years of experience in heavy civil construction with focus on bridges and roadway projects.
• Proven background with IDOT and/or Illinois Tollway standards and procedures.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret plans, specs, and schedules.
• OSHA 30 certification preferred.
