In anticipation of a possible opening, the Department of History at Illinois State University is creating a pool of applicants who can teach in‑person U.S., European, or non‑Western history. The History Department serves approximately 500 majors and is composed of approximately 25 TT and NTT faculty. The typical class size ranges from 20 to 88 students.
