• Location: Any of the schools we partner with in the Elgin U‑46 School District (Elgin, South Elgin, Bartlett, Streamwood, Hanover Park, Wayne, Hoffman Estates, Carol Stream).
• Pay Rate: $15‑18/hour (based on education and experience).

  Hours:
  
  Mon‑Fri: 1:45 PM‑6:00 PM.
• Work Availability: All five days; shifts must be full (no partial shifts).
• Start Date: Immediate.
• Required: At least 18 years of age;
  High School Diploma or GED; at least six months of experience working with children 5‑13 years in a formal group childcare setting (preferred).

• Daily Program Meetings: review goals and updates, share ideas, discuss professional progress, encourage collaboration, and foster team accountability.
• Organize and Facilitate Daily
  
  Activities:
  
  prepare activities and curriculum that align with the program’s objectives, ensuring they are both educational and enjoyable.
• Leading by Example: maintain a safe and nurturing environment, modeling positive guidance and effective classroom management.
• Prioritize Safety and Joy: monitor the environment, address hazards, and follow all safety protocols; document attendance, incidents, and observations.
• Communicate effectively with children, parents, staff, and school personnel.

• Outstanding customer service and relationship‑building skills.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs.
• Drive to inspire a love for learning and commitment to healthy living.
• Flexibility to support additional local programs as needed.

• Ability to meet state‑specific requirements.
• First Aid and CPR – in‑person.
• Cleared tuberculosis test.
• Proof of High School diploma/GED.
