We are hiring for a Teacher of the Visually Impaired in Will County, IL. This position offers a chance to support students with visual impairments through personalized instruction and adaptive learning strategies.

Role: Teacher of the Visually Impaired (Part-Time)

Location: Will County, IL

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 20-37.5 hours per week

Compensation: Starting at $45/hour

• Develop and implement instructional lessons aligned with students' IEPs
• Adapt curriculum materials and instructional techniques to ensure accessibility
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, specialists, and support personnel to integrate appropriate accommodations
• Provide direct instruction in Braille, assistive technology, and orientation and mobility skills as needed
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation in accordance with state and federal regulations
• Promote a learning environment that fosters independence and academic success

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Special Education or related field
• Endorsement in Teacher of Students Who Are Blind or Visually Impaired
