Job Purpose and ResponsibilitiesThe primary purpose of the Student Ambassador is to act as a liaison between their university (students and faculty) and an assigned Banfield Medical Director.
Essential Responsibilities- Represent Banfield Pet Hospital professionally and sincerely.
- Promote awareness of Banfield’s mission and vision among peers and answer questions from faculty and students.
- Assist in arranging campus visits by distributing materials, posting announcements, reserving rooms, and coordinating event details.
- Participate in campus presentations and follow-up communications.
- Distribute promotional collateral as permitted by school policies.
- Inform the Student Program team of student activities suitable for Banfield participation.
- Attend Banfield-sponsored conferences and educational events when appropriate.
- Maintain communication with the Student Programs team and Medical Director.
- Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications and Competencies
Candidates should demonstrate leadership, communication, organizational, problem-solving, and client service skills. They should be able to multitask, follow instructions, and work independently. Essential capabilities include proficiency in English, computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook), and the ability to engage with diverse groups.

Working ConditionsMust have good reasoning, memory, and language skills; be able to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds; work in a pet environment; and handle moderate noise levels.
Education and CompensationEnrolled in a veterinary medicine program. Compensation includes a $2,500 stipend paid in two installments.
