- Troubleshoot and manage incoming maintenance requests for facilities.
- Vet and assess prospective service providers.
- Ensure preventive maintenance programs for essential equipment are upheld.
- Evaluate when quotes are necessary for services or repairs.
- Scope, dispatch, and review estimates for approval and coordinate with stores and contractors.
- Create and enforce operating procedures that empower stores to assist themselves effectively.
- Follow up daily on pending estimates and ensure timely vendor review.
- Monitor the completion of services and counsel stores on expectations for service follow‑up.
- Negotiate pricing with contractors to secure the best deals for the company.
- Register new vendors and negotiate favorable service prices.
- Participate in training programs, workshops, and webinars for continuous professional development.
- Deliver proactive and professional internal and external support to handle inquiries and issues efficiently.

- Minimum of 3 years in general building maintenance or a similar field.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and related software.
- Solid understanding of retail business practices.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to cultivate and maintain positive professional relationships.
- Demonstrated skills in prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines with attention to detail.
- Adherence to established processes and protocols.
- Experience managing multiple tasks in a proactive manner.
- Adaptable to changing priorities and challenges.
- Strong problem‑solving skills to minimize delays and disruptions.
- Ability to remain seated or standing for prolonged periods.
- Capability to lift weights up to 15 pounds periodically.

The pay range for this position is $18.25 - $22.25 per hour and is bonus eligible. Compensation is based on geographic location, education, certifications, experience, job level, shift, and organizational needs.
