Responsibilities

The purpose of the Front Desk Coordinator is to play an important role in setting the tone for the company. As the first and last person the visitors see when they are in the office, this position is instrumental in making sure everyone has a positive experience.

  • Greet people entering the building, answering any questions, providing directions, and alerting the appropriate parties when someone is there to meet with them.
  • Serve as the face of the company, offering friendly service to those entering the building or calling in on the phone.
  • Provide outstanding customer service for visitors and associates.
  • Answer a multiple line phone system, manage calls by routing them to the proper extensions or taking messages and delivering them to the appropriate parties.
  • Maintain security by following procedures, monitoring the logbook, and issuing visitor badges.
  • Maintain the front desk area, keeping it clean and free of clutter.
  • Conduct general administrative duties.
  • Assist Human Resources Manager with various projects.
  • May be required to cross train and perform other duties.
Qualifications

Essential Qualities for Success:

  • At least 2 years of administrative office experience and strong working knowledge of the travel industry or equivalent combination of experience and education.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent verbal and written interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Strong understanding of retail business practices.
  • Excellent negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated behaviors must reflect integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
  • Must be able to access and navigate each department across facilities.
  • Must be able to verbally communicate effectively with others (in-person and via electronic devices).
  • Must have close visual acuity.

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $19.50 per hour and is bonus eligible. Exact compensation is determined by factors such as relevant geographic location, education, certifications, experience, job level, shift, and organizational needs. Eligible associates may also receive overtime pay in compliance with applicable laws.
