• Perform quality echocardiography exams, including transthoracic echocardiography, stress echocardiography, and transesophageal assessments.
• Prepare patients, position appropriately, monitor safety, and optimize image quality for accurate interpretation.
• Operate ultrasound/equipment, acquire and process data, and generate interpretable images and measurements.
• Document results and ensure accurate charting; communicate findings to the cardiology team as appropriate.
• Maintain equipment and follow infection control protocols; adhere to ARDMS standards and BLS requirements.
• Collaborate with physicians and other clinical staff to support patient flow and scheduling of follow-up testing as needed.

• 2+ years of echocardiography experience
• ARDMS certification (required)
• BLS (AHA) certification (required)
• Ability to work in an inpatient care environment in Mattoon, IL
• Willingness to participate in a 13-week travel assignment
