About the Role
Umbrella is looking for a motivated, customer-focused Support Cloud Engineer to join our team. In this role, you’ll work directly with customers to help them adopt, configure, and operate the Umbrella platform. You’ll act as a trusted technical partner, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience and ongoing effective platform usage.
This role can be a great fit for strong final-year students, recent graduates, or recent graduates of a technological military service who are eager to gain hands‑on experience in cloud technologies and customer‑facing technical work (full‑time position).
Key Responsibilities- Support Umbrella customers in using and operating the Umbrella platform.
- Lead onboarding and platform configuration activities, independently and together with customers.
- Deliver training sessions and enablement workshops for new and existing customer teams.
- Manage multiple customer cases simultaneously while maintaining high service quality and clear communicationli>
- Collaborate with internal teams (R&D, Product, Customer Success) to investigate and resolve technical and operational issues.
Skills and Qualifications
- Experience working with APIs (advantage).
- Strong ability to query and analyze data using SQL (advantage).
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills (must).
- Strong attention to detail, alongside the ability to maintain a big‑picture view.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks, cases, and priorities in parallel.
- Customer‑oriented mindset with strong problem‑solving skills.
- Full‑time position (100% FTE).
- Working days:
Monday to Friday. - Some working days require availability during US East (ET) working hours.
- Familiarity with public cloud platforms: AWS, GCP, Azure, OCI.
- Experience with SaaS/data platforms such as Snowflake or Databricks.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools:
Kibana, Cloud Watch. - Background in customer support / customer success organizations.
- Exposure to Fin Ops and/or Fin Tech domains.
