C5T is seeking a Mid-Level Data Analyst with hands-on Palantir Foundry experience to support a multi-disciplinary action research team working with the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) and Air Mobility Command (AMC). This position supports data-driven transformation initiatives at AMC Headquarters and contributes to operational and organizational research efforts that enhance global mobility readiness and mission assurance. The Data Analyst will be part of a small, mission-focused research team developing analytics within the Envision tool hosted in Palantir Foundry.
This role integrates diverse operational datasets, builds repeatable analytical workflows, and delivers insights to inform senior leader decision-making. The position involves close collaboration with government civilians, military personnel, contractor teammates, and C5T colleagues.
Location:
Scott Air Force Base, IL (AMC Headquarters). Work will primarily take place in government work spaces, with additional time in company offices and occasional telework as mission needs allow.
- Uses Palantir Foundry to analyze, transform, and model complex datasets supporting DoD missions
- Conducts descriptive, diagnostic, and predictive analyses aligned with AMC mission priorities
- Builds, enhances, and maintains Foundry pipelines, datasets, and analytical workflows
- Develops and manages Foundry ontology models, including entities, relationships, and operational logic
- Creates Foundry dashboards, applications, and analytic products for government end users
- Translates operational and mission requirements into actionable data insights
- Validates data quality and reliability; troubleshoots pipeline and transformation issues
- Collaborates daily with planners, operators, and subject matter experts in classified environments
- Prepares and delivers high-quality briefings, reports, and recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences
- Documents analytical activities and ensures compliance with security and data protection requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Operations Research, or a related field
- 3+ years of applied data analysis or operational research experience
- Proficiency in Python, R, or SQL, with strong data visualization skills
- Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience briefing senior DoD leaders
- Strong interpersonal skills for collaborative military headquarters environments
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications
- Ability to work independently with minimal oversight
- Ability to appropriately protect sensitive information
- Active DoD Secret-level (or higher) security clearance
- Advanced Palantir Foundry experience (pipelines, ontology, Code Workbook)
- Experience supporting DoD, Intelligence Community, or federal mission environments
- Exposure to data engineering concepts or cloud-based analytics platforms
- Experience working in agile or mission-focused teams
- Experience with machine learning, advanced analytics, or predictive modeling
- Prior experience supporting operational, logistics, intelligence, or readiness analytics
- Familiarity with Air Force mobility operations
