SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Dev Ops Cloud Engineer with 35 years of experience to design, automate, and optimize cloud infrastructure using modern Dev Ops and IaC practices. This role supports AWS and hybrid environments, ensuring high availability, security, and scalable operations.
Key Responsibilities Infrastructure & Operations- Design, deploy, and manage AWS and on-prem infrastructure (EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM).
- Maintain and enhance Infrastructure as Code using Git Hub, Pulumi, or AWS Cloud Formation.
- Optimize cloud performance, availability, and cost.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Git Hub Actions).
- Integrate security scanning and compliance into pipelines.
- Use automation/AI tools to improve Dev Ops efficiency.
- Implement IAM, network, encryption, logging, and monitoring best practices.
- Partner with Security teams to meet compliance requirements.
- Support vulnerability management and incident response.
- Configure monitoring, logging, alerting (Cloud Watch, SIEM tools).
- Troubleshoot cloud, network, and deployment issues.
- Participate in on-call rotation and support production systems.
- Manage patching, BC/DR, and governance via AWS Systems Manager, Cloud Custodian.
- Work with developers and stakeholders to deliver cloud solutions.
- Recommend new tools and automation opportunities.
- Maintain documentation and support continuous improvement.
- Bachelor's in CS, IS, or related field.
- 3 5 years in cloud, systems, or network engineering with Dev Ops exposure.
- AWS certifications preferred.
- Experience in regulated industries is a plus.
- Strong AWS knowledge (compute, storage, networking, security).
- Networking fundamentals (routing, switching, VPN, firewalls).
- IaC and scripting (Pulumi, Python, Bash, Node.js).
- CI/CD experience (Git Hub Actions or similar).
- Familiarity with IAM, SIEM/SASE tools, monitoring platforms (Cloud Watch, Splunk, Logic Monitor, Orca).
